Toro GrandStand MULTI FORCE 60 EFI
GrandStand MULTI FORCE 60 is most interesting when you have useful work for its attachment system beyond mowing. Buying it solely because the name suggests versatility leaves an important question unanswered: which attachment, kits and changeover process will serve your route? Get those details before comparing the price with a conventional stand-on.
What comes with model 72524
Toro's product page identifies 72524 as a 60-inch mower with a 26.5 hp, 747cc Kohler Command EFI engine and included low-flow hydraulics. Its 7-gauge TURBO FORCE deck has a tool-free adjustable discharge baffle and a 1.5-to-5-inch height range. Maximum forward speed is 10 mph.
The integrated hydraulic drive is a separate specification from the attachment hydraulics. Toro's statement about eliminating drive-system hoses should not be read as saying that hydraulic attachments have no hoses or service requirements. The machine still needs the inspections and maintenance in its applicable manual.
Price a complete attachment combination
On the same product page, the power-broom listing identifies a high-flow hydraulic kit and attachment plate among its requirements. Included low-flow hydraulics are not universal attachment readiness. Ask the dealer to identify every required part against the mower and attachment serial numbers.
Request a demonstration of the approved changeover, storage arrangement and operating controls. Record the total quote with the attachment, kits, installation and any required setup. Consider where that attachment will be stored and how it will travel between jobs. We have not measured a financial return or time saving from using this system.
If those extra tasks do not exist in your routine, the standard GrandStand 48 offers a useful starting point for comparing a mowing-focused machine. It is a different width and engine configuration, so obtain comparable quotes rather than treating their price difference as the cost of one feature.
Evaluate the platform, then the coverage
Toro documents a suspended operator platform and a 10.5-gallon tank. Test your stance and control reach during a sensible demonstration; fuel capacity is not verified runtime. The operator-format guide can help structure the assessment.
The linked warranty lists five years/1,200 hours for this GrandStand size, with no hour cap during the first two years. It lists the Kohler engine separately at three years and attachments at one year, subject to their terms. Check the exact equipment documents before assuming the entire package shares one period.
Our buying view: choose MULTI FORCE for a specified, supported combination of jobs. Research checked October 13, 2026. No local selling price, attachment performance test or measured productivity claim is included.
Our ZT Score
8.1/10 — our research-based editorial assessment using the ZeroTurn scoring method.
- Cut quality (30%): 8.2/10. The 7-gauge TURBO FORCE deck and adjustable baffle offer useful configuration options; comparative cut quality is not measured.
- Build & durability (25%): 8.2/10. Integrated drive and documented deck construction support a commercial equipment assessment without failure-rate evidence.
- Comfort (20%): 8.0/10. The suspended standing platform earns credit, while a personal demonstration is needed to assess comfort.
- Value (15%): 7.8/10. Value depends on productive use of a fully priced attachment combination; mowing alone may not justify the package.
- Ease of use (10%): 8.4/10. The baffle adjustment and attachment capability are useful, balanced against kit compatibility and changeover requirements.
Provisional research-based editorial assessment of the documented configuration, not a hands-on test. Cut finish, fatigue, fuel use and durability have not been measured by ZeroTurn. Reliable model-specific owner consensus and delivered US or Canadian dealer quotes were not established. Value depends on the intended jobs, complete equipment quotation and local service support.
