The ZD1611RL-60R is for a buyer who has a reason to choose a substantial diesel mower and a 60-inch rear-discharge deck together. Its appeal is the complete package: hydraulic deck lift, an air-ride seat and a shaft-drive PTO. The first purchase question is whether your property, storage and transport arrangements suit the machine.

Check the rear-discharge configuration

Kubota pairs this tractor with the RCK60RP-1500Z ProDeck, a three-blade, 60-inch rear-discharge deck. The 2026 full-line catalog distinguishes it from the 72-inch side-discharge ProDeck with ACS. Do not transfer the latter deck's depth or features to the 60-inch version.

Understand the diesel system

The liquid-cooled, four-cylinder V1505-CR-TE5-ZD1 is rated at 30.8 gross hp and uses a diesel particulate filter. Ask the dealer to explain the regeneration indicators and the exact operator-manual procedure at handover. We have not established a fuel-saving percentage or a payback period against a gasoline machine.

The published 13-US-gallon capacity is roughly 49 litres. Capacity alone cannot tell you the number of hours between stops. The smaller-engine ZD1211-60 is worth comparing if you do not need this particular engine and rear-discharge package.

Allow for the whole machine

Kubota lists 63 inches of overall width and 105.7 inches of length for this configuration. The series brochure lists 2,105 lb with the mower and without fuel. Check actual equipped weight and dimensions before selecting transport or storage; nominal cutting width is only one measurement.

The air-ride seat and selectable front axle offer adjustments to evaluate during a demonstration. Neither proves that the ride will suit every operator. The Canadian product page also identifies the exact deck and tractor combination.

US 2026 warranty documents list 24 months of basic limited coverage for this ZD category, including the deck; the Canadian page advertises two years. Obtain the regional terms with your quote. This is a capable-looking specification for sustained commercial work, but its size, emissions-system requirements and local support should decide whether it belongs on your shortlist.
