Husqvarna Z560X 60
The Z560X 60 is a commercial Husqvarna for buyers who can use a wider cutting path and want to compare substantial drive hardware. Its most useful comparison within the brand is the Z554X 54: the extra deck width has to improve the actual route, not merely look better on a specification sheet.
Identify the US configuration
This review covers 967669701, shown by Husqvarna as 967 66 97-01. The US product listing and current US operator documentation describe 31 gross hp Kawasaki FX power, ZT-5400 transaxles and a 60-inch, 7-gauge fabricated deck. The engine is the 999cc FX921V, not the smaller engine found in some regional listings.
The package includes a premium suspension seat and hinged armrests. Maximum forward speed is 12 mph, which is a transport capability rather than proof that every lawn can be cut satisfactorily at that pace.
Decide whether 60 inches helps your route
The published width with the discharge chute down is 74 inches. Measure the complete access route, including turns and storage, before treating this as a fit for a nominal opening. A wider mower that leaves inaccessible grass can create more work with another machine.
On a demonstration, compare one complete representative area with the narrower alternative. Include cleanup and trimming. That gives the extra width a fair test without assuming a universal acres-per-hour result.
Look beyond the steel gauge
Cast-iron spindles and a fabricated shell are useful construction details, but they do not independently prove the quality of the cut. Inspect the finished grass, clipping distribution and routine service access. The deck-construction guide separates shell construction from those other questions.
The Bobcat ZT6100 EFI 61 is another candidate for a similar cutting width. Compare the control layout, seat adjustment and local service arrangements instead of choosing from engine output alone.
Read the current warranty by component
Husqvarna's 2026 warranty statement lists the Z500 machine category at five years or 1,500 hours, with unlimited hours in the first two years. Its separate transmission notes specify two years through Hydro-Gear for the Z500X ZT-5400. Do not extend the machine headline to every component; obtain the complete terms for the supplied unit and country.
Our assessment favors this configuration for sustained work where access is generous. Pricing fields remain empty because a current delivered quote was not established; advertised promotions do not settle the final equipment and service cost.

Our ZT Score
8.1/10 — our research-based editorial assessment using the ZeroTurn scoring method.
- Cut quality (30%): 8.2/10. The commercial deck and adjustable cutting system support repeated mowing; actual finish and clipping distribution require a local demo.
- Build & durability (25%): 8.7/10. ZT-5400 drive, canister engine filtration and a heavy deck support the hardware assessment without establishing a service life.
- Comfort (20%): 8.0/10. Premium seat suspension and armrests earn comfort credit, with no full chassis suspension or measured vibration claim.
- Value (15%): 7.2/10. The wider commercial package can be useful, but a matched delivered quote and route comparison are missing.
- Ease of use (10%): 7.6/10. Controls and serviceable equipment are practical, while overall width and component-specific service obligations add complexity.
Provisional editorial assessment of the documented configuration, not a hands-on test. We have not established reliable model-specific owner consensus or measured comparative cut quality, comfort or longevity. Value is conditional on a current delivered quote for the same equipment and use. No such US or Canadian dealer quote was verified.
