Hustler Raptor XD 54
The Raptor XD is the Hustler you step up to when the base Raptor feels too basic. The important change is the deck, which is fabricated and welded rather than stamped, and that is the part that keeps cutting cleanly after a few hard seasons. SmoothTrak steering is a real improvement too, taking the twitchiness out of the lap bars that puts new riders off. A wider platform and grippy BigBite tyres round it out. There is no suspension seat at this price, and it is dealer-sold. For up to five acres where you want a durable deck and calmer steering, it is a sensible amount of mower.
