The current Kawasaki-powered Z3X 52 deserves an exact model-number check. Ferris now lists 5902233, with a 38.5 hp Kawasaki FX1000 EFI engine. Older search results can describe a 27 hp FX850V package; those specifications should not be combined into a single review.

Buy the configuration, not just the Z3X name

The live manufacturer table pairs 5902233 with the 52-inch iCD+ deck, greasable cast-iron spindles and dual commercial transaxles with eight-inch cooling fans. The current table does not name the transaxle series for this configuration, so we do not borrow a transmission code from the older model.

An 11-US-gallon tank and fuel-level gauge are included in the published equipment. The maximum forward speed is 12 mph. Actual cutting pace and endurance need a demonstration under the conditions you expect to encounter.

Assess the standing platform separately

An adjustable coil-over operator platform and pivoting front axle distinguish the chassis layout. Have the platform adjusted for the operator before judging reach and support. These features do not establish lower fatigue, better traction or permission to exceed the manual's terrain limits.

Ferris describes machine coverage as two years with unlimited hours, followed by coverage subject to the four-year/500-hour limit.
