Our verdict

Exmark Radius X-Series 60

The Radius X-Series is Exmark handing Lazer Z technology to buyers who cannot quite justify a Lazer Z. The UltraCut Series 4 deck is the same cutting system that made the pro machines famous, the 31 HP Kawasaki has real muscle, and a full-suspension seat with three inches of travel makes long days easier. Clever touches like top-side deck access from under the footrest show its commercial intent. It wants open ground for that 60-inch deck and it is sold through dealers at commercial money. For a landscaper who wants Exmark's signature cut and comfort without the flagship price, this is the value sweet spot of the range.
