Anyone who has jacked up a mower to sharpen blades will understand the BlackJack immediately. At the push of a button an electric-hydraulic actuator flips the whole deck upright, so blade changes and cleaning happen standing up instead of flat on your back in the grass. That alone will sell it to some people, and the rest of the machine backs it up with a reinforced 7-gauge deck, serviceable ZT-3100 transaxles and a seven-year warranty. The fuel tank is a small three gallons and the flip mechanism is one more part that could eventually fail. For a homeowner who does their own maintenance and hates the ritual, it solves a real annoyance.
