What owners love
- +Borrows deck and drive technology from Toro's commercial line
- +Reinforced 10-gauge high-strength deck edge with a bullnose leading edge
- +Wide tubular front axle and big front tyres for stability
- +Canister-style air filter for longer engine life
- +Backed by roughly 3,000 US and Canada dealers
Worth knowing
- −No suspension seat unless you step up to the MyRIDE version
- −A 60-inch deck is too wide for gated yards
- −Dealer-only, so no big-box price comparison
Our verdict
Toro TITAN 60
The Titan is where Toro hands its commercial technology down to a homeowner machine. You get a reinforced 10-gauge deck edge, a canister air filter and a wide tubular front axle, all things normally reserved for the pro line, wrapped around a proven Toro twin. It clears big open acreage quickly and is built to keep doing it for years. What you do not get at this trim is a suspension seat, which lives on the pricier MyRIDE version, and 60 inches is a lot of width for a tight yard. For two or more open acres and a buyer who wants commercial bones without commercial pricing, it is a lot of mower.
