What owners love
- +MyRIDE suspends the whole operator platform for a genuinely smooth ride
- +Heavy-duty fabricated IronForged deck, not a stamped one
- +Wide 60-inch cut clears big lawns quickly
- +Automotive-style fuel fill and an integrated oil-drain hose
- +Roughly 3,000 US and Canada dealers behind it
Worth knowing
- −Only 7 mph, slower than commercial machines
- −A 60-inch deck is too wide for gated yards
- −No ROPS as standard at this trim
Our verdict
Toro TimeCutter MAX MyRIDE 60
The MAX MyRIDE 60 is the homeowner TimeCutter with the comfort turned up, and the suspension is the reason to buy it. Rather than just softening the seat, MyRIDE suspends the entire platform you sit and stand on, so ruts and bumps land as a nudge instead of a jolt. Pair that with a fabricated IronForged deck and a proven Kohler twin and you have a machine that covers big lawns in comfort. It only manages 7 mph and 60 inches is a lot of width for a tight yard. For three or more open acres and anyone whose back has had enough of a rigid mower, the ride alone makes it worth the step up.
