Our verdict
Spartan RZ-HD 60
Spartan pitches the RZ-HD as commercial guts at a homeowner price, and the hardware backs most of that up. The Parker transaxles go 1,000 hours between oil changes, the frame uses the same tubing as the company's UTVs, and the 7-gauge deck runs deep for good airflow in thick grass. A big 9.5-gallon tank means fewer stops on a large property. Where it economises is comfort, with no suspension seat as standard, and the dealer network is thin next to Deere or Toro. If you want serious drivetrain and a big tank on three or more acres, and there is a dealer near you, it earns a look.
